Today's announcement that Justice John Paul Stevens is retiring from the Supreme Court oddly brought back way too many memories of Constitutional Law, Federal Courts, and Advanced Appellette Brief Writitng from law school. He has had an amazing influence on the shaping of law and history in the United States. Regardless of whether I agree with all of his decisions, he is a brilliant man! It's sad to see these truely great and brilliant legal minds all retiring from the Court. The most recent appointees just can't seem to compete.
