Does it bother anyone else that the Olympians don't sing the national anthem when it is played following the awarding of a gold medal? A hand over the heart is just half of showing your respect for the country that put you there. You'd think the USOC would provide a little bit of instruction in patriotic etiquette to our Olympians.
I'm the first to admit that I don't agree with everything our national leaders are doing, but I'm not afraid to show my patriotism and express my gratitude for living in what is still the freest country on Earth--a country where I can do basically anything I please.
Sing proud boys and girls!
