October starts the season of holiday boxes. One of the things that nice about LA (and different from anywhere else I've lived) is that the flowers, etc. are still beautiful on October 22!
Beautiful front porch. What a happy color it's painted, too. That's definitely something I love about California is that it takes a lot longer for everything to look dead in the winter.
After teaching for 6 years in Walnut Creek, California, I packed up my classroom and apartment and moved to Provo, Utah to attend law school at the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU. Since graduating from law school, I've worked as a special education attorney, representing school districts in the State of California. I currently work for Fagen Friedman & Fulfrost, LLP in their Los Angeles office.
